Susan Solovic Helps Put the Spotlight on Entrepreneurs and Their Businesses

 

 

 

St. Louis, MO (July 17, 2006) – A growing business trend is changing the role of the stay-at-home mother:  mompreneurs.  These hard working moms are finding success in growing numbers with home-based businesses and SBTV CEO Susan Wilson Solovic was a guest on St. Louis FOX affiliate KTVI-TV the latest information on this growing force of small business owners. 

 

“Women want to balance their work life with the needs of their children and often a home-based business is the answer to that” explained Solovic.  “The U.S. Labor Department estimates that roughly two thirds of all home based businesses are owned by women with children for these reasons” she explained during a morning appearance on “FOX 2 In The Morning”.  These interviews are one way SBTV is helping spread the message that entrepreneurs are the powerhouses of the U.S. economy.

 

A veteran business traveler, Solovic was also featured the same day in a segment on

St. Louis NBC affiliate KSDK offering some of the secrets of booking travel online.  She shared some of the tips that veteran road warriors use that consumers may find helpful during the busy summer travel season and shared some of the ways that rising fuel prices are shaping travel.
