New Size Standards for Small Business from the SBA

The Small Business Administration is considering proposals to change their definition of a small business. The proposed size increases covers 71 types of businesses in retail trade and accommodation and food services (hotel, motel and restaurants). Today the proposals are under review and business owners and tax payers across the country can weigh in on the Small Business Administration’s proposed size standards.   The data and the methodology are available at www.regulations.gov. Feedback on the proposed changes can be emailed to sizestandards@sba.gov or mailed to Khem R.
